As the Director for Element 84's Federal Space business unit, I am responsible for the execution of all federal projects in the outer space domain. This includes technical excellence, profitability, client engagement, and business development (both organic and new). I also oversee team engagement to make sure all employees on a federal project are engaged.

Define and support the building of enterprise-scale cloud-based products for NASA's Earth Science program. As Product Manager, I oversee a Release Train as defined by the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). I coordinate schedules, priorities, and budgets with NASA, Raytheon, and other stakeholders as well as help all Product Owners set their team priorities.

Oversee the project management practice for the organization. This includes defining responsibilities for PMs across the company, developing standards for PMs to implement so that our customers receive a world-class and consistent customer experience, mentoring PMs, and collaborating with executive and engineering leadership to ensure our project teams are.

Lead software development projects for NASA's Earth science program. Responsible for the delivery of enterprise-level systems on budget and on time. Our program uses the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) to coordinate development efforts throughout the program and to ensure that the platform and all applications supporting the science and research community.

This work was challenging due to the wide variety of data types, users' experience background and expertise, and needing to make disparate content work in a cohesive, unified way.
