Mark is a disaster mitigation manager with expertise providing technical assistance, grant writing, communications and project management for both pre- and post-disaster mitigation. He helps communities rebuild infrastructure, schools, and housing in the wake of a storm. His pre-disaster mitigation skills include developing hazard mitigation planning and communications strategy, providing technical assistance for onsite mitigation, and managing floodproofing and retrofitting projects including elevation, acquisition and mitigation/reconstruction projects.
