I was seconded to Population Council as the Data Strategist and Innovation Team Leader for the Breakthrough RESEARCH project - USAID's flagship Social and Behavior Change (SBC) research and evaluation project.

I developed and conducted formative research studies, process and effectiveness evaluations, built research capacity through workshops and one-on-one mentoring, conducted secondary quantitative and qualitative data analyses, report writing and peer reviewed publications.

I conducted research on men and women's experiences with sexual and reproductive health services, and women's access to abortion services. I provided technical assistance with data monitoring and information systems.

I conducted original, policy relevant research on equity of access, timeliness and workforce issues affecting abortion services.I also served as the academic lead for a portfolio of program evaluations, including the evaluation of Diabetes Self Management Education Program for Counties Manukau, and the evaluation of abortion training programs for medical students at the University of Auckland.

Developed monitoring and evaluation plans, conducted process evaluations, conducted final project evaluations, developed and conducted capacity building workshops, conducted quantitative and qualitative data analyses.
