I have over 20 years experience working in the field of Clinical Chemistry which is my passion. I have been fortunate to have had a variety of experiences working in Major University Hospitals to small independent reference laboratories to large reference laboratories. I have developed skills in a variety of analytical techniques and have specialized experience in areas such as Endocrinology, Special Proteins, Toxicology, Neonatal testing and Biochemical Genetics and Chromatography.I have over 11 years experience of Clinical Liquid Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry using Thermo Scientific Quantum Ultra triple Quad Mass Spectrometer and Agilent TLX HPLC system as well as Waters Acquity UPLC system with the TQD Triple quad Mass Spectrometry. I also haveextensive experience with SCIEX API3200 system for performing toxicology confirmation testing. I have experience with both APCI and Electrospray Ionization techniques.I am able to perform manual as well as auto-tuning of Mass Spec and Calibration using Polytyrosine T and cesium chloride.I have extensive troubleshooting skills and can rebuild HPLC pumps and perform complex maintenance on mass spectrometers. I have also extensive method validation experience. Clinical Mass Spectrometry has become my passion.
