Each project starts by creation of trackers for new & C/O purchased components/materials (usually developed from Engineering BOMs). Tracking releasement of new components/materials in ES, supply of actual drawings and specifications, solving potential issues related to incorrect release of data. Establishing RFI/RFQ packages, running sourcing process and securing suppliers for new purchased parts according to strategy for each commodity. Managing and securing components/materials for each production stage since PROTO till SOP. Responsibility for financial results of each assigned project - searching for any way how to reduce input costs (analysis of suppliers CBDs, brainstorming with engineering dept. to find cheaper but still suitable solution, bundling during sourcing, etc.). Analyzing and reporting of any components price changes during project lifetime and calculation of final impact on project financials.Supervising about components/materials readiness for PV & DV stage and PPAP tracking.
