I bring my experience to bear in guiding a team of Salesforce experts through each project do deliver the right outcomes to the right place at the right time. This ensures that our clients can achieve the maximum benefit from their investment in Salesforce.I coach and mentor junior members of my team, helping them to grow into their consulting career. I help them to find the right roles to develop their skills and experience. I enjoy seeing the people I manage grow and achieve success.I work with colleagues globally within Slalom to define and communicate our best practices, accelerators and implementation patterns for data migrations and Salesforce data architecture. I have a leading role in how Slalom are delivering Agentforce in the UK&I. In December 2017 cDecisions was acquired by PwC and became PwC Digital Services.Working within the Salesforce Community of Practice I specialised in delivering solutions on the Salesforce platform to clients in the financial services industry.

This challenging and varied role was always interesting. I worked with financial services, insurance, and pharmaceutical companies ranging in size from start ups to global multi-nationals. I joined cDecisions soon after it was established and enjoyed the entrepreneurial spirit and drive that grew the company to the point of being acquired by PwC late in 2017.My role involved: - Taking complete responsibility for delivering solutions to customers. - Being the first point of contact for the client. - Building lasting relationships with my clients. - Providing pre-sales technical expertise and support for our commercial team. - Preparing and deliver project proposals to new and existing clients. - Leading teams of consultants on-shore and near-shore. - Developing and deploying complex data integration projects using open data integration tools such as Talend.- Line management and mentoring colleagues.- Defining and leading the implementation of best practice within cDecisions.- Managing offshore development teams.- Providing high level designs and architectures for Salesforce.com implementations.- Reviewing the designs and implementation of my colleagues as part of our commitment to high quality solutions.

The Information Systems team provided strategic support for a global deployment of Siebel and all dependent business information systems and reporting. My role involved eliciting and analysing requirements for the development of our applications from our user groups. I prepared business cases and plans for the implementation and delivery of change to the business. I broadened my technical experience to include a wide range of business systems based on SQL Server and MS Office technologies. The most recent project being the implementation of an enterprise business intelligence (BI) platform in which I took a leading technical architecture role. I designed and implemented the process for extraction and transformation of data from their CRM system into the BI data warehouse. The design utilised replication and Change Data Capture functionality to allow near real-time incremental data loading. This enabled the efficient identification of changed records without having to perform row-by-row comparisons.I was also responsible for the deployment of the BI platform to the production environment. In this I made extensive use of MS Visual Studio Database Edition.As a senior member of the team I regularly acted as a mentor for more junior colleagues and researched and promoted industry best practice. I liaised with other departments of QAS on interdepartmental projects and initiatives. I provided expert advice to our product developers on integrating QAS products with Siebel.

I led the 'front door' team for the OneSiebel CRM project. This involves managing the first stages of engagement with customers prior to each release planning meeting. My team ensures that our project prioritises the work which is delivers the maximum business value to our wide customer base.Our project used the Agile methodology to prioritise, plan and re-plan our releases.

As a Siebel consultant at Customer Systems I performed diverse roles across a large range of industry sectors encompassing all phases of project life cycles. These ranged from capturing business requirements and processes to developing software functionality based on those requirements and delivering it to the customer. I led colleagues in delivering essential functionality on very aggressive time-scales. Consequently I developed excellent organisational and time management skills. I gained experience working as both part of a development team and independently.A typical example of the type of project I undertook was the Braintree District Council eGovernment Project. Working in the heart of the customer service centre I led the development and deployment of enhancements to their Siebel Call Centre implementation. With tight budgets and aggressive time-scales I had to manage the project carefully. Working closely with the end users helped me to prioritise the requirements to meet their needs.

To complement my degree I spent a year working for Nortel Networks as a software engineer. While working in a team developing a photonic switch for use in optical networks, I was responsible for developing software to control the switch at the network level. Following the completion of the project the team used my software to demonstrate the operation of the switch.
