My life purpose is to transform suffering into joy and happiness and restore the mind, body, and heart to wholeness. Through my private practice in Madison, NJ, I provide support, hope, and transformation for those coping with grief and loss and other life transitions. I work with individuals of all ages and also specialize in working with families coping with a family member with a chronic or terminal illness diagnosis and supporting children and teens during this time. As Founder and Executive Director Emeritus of Imagine, A Center for Coping with Loss and Good Grief, Inc., my vision is to normalize grief in our society and support people during any loss or life transition. With 30 years’ experience in the corporate and nonprofit sector I also provide consulting services for those wishing to start a nonprofit and for existing nonprofits to raise the funds, capacity, and resources needed to realize their vision in the world. Leaving the corporate world in 1997 to volunteer and work full-time in the field of grief support, I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in English, a Master’s Degree in Applied Psychoanalysis, and a Certificate in Thanatology. I am a member of the Association for Death Education and Counseling and the National Association for the Advancement of Psychoanalysis, and serve on the Board of Trustees of the National Alliance for Children's Grief and as President of the Board of The Academy of Clinical and Applied Psychoanalysis.A creative, highly motivated and visionary leader with expertise and a proven track record in fund raising, relationship building, clinical skills, and organizational development.
