I am passionate about science, primarily chemistry and biology, especially when it comes to research. Additionally, I love school, both learning and teaching. Taking into account my coursework and research, I have an extensive and broad academic background that includes 282 college credits, covers 18 countries, and involves research on endangered species, thermally stable materials for aerospace applications, tissue engineering for orthopedic applications, isolation of compounds from plants for pharmaceutical use, development of biological assays to rapidly screen drugs, and design and synthesis of drugs to treat pain, addiction, depression, schizophrenia, anxiety, sleep disorders, malaria, and cancer. I enjoy being able to draw upon my experiences when trying to find a solution to a problem. I love to share my knowledge and experiences with anyone interested in learning (or listening) and love to learn from others just as much.
Listed skills include Microbiology, Analytical Chemistry, Biotechnology, Medicinal Chemistry, and 46 others.
