As a skilled and experienced photographer for an online auction company, I oversee the photographic production process from start to finish: composing, shooting, archiving and editing images of fine art and antiques for online sales, print and digital advertising. Since our sales take place online, it’s essential that the images we provide are both attractive and descriptive. Over nearly a decade I’ve met these criteria with consistent and high-quality photography that’s helped our company achieve several auction records, including the 2019 sale of the estate of Anthony Bourdain, which brought in over $1.8 million. The photography from that sale has been included in articles appearing in the New York Times, Food & Wine, CBS News and others. In addition to my full-time job as a photographer I have my own brand of hand-painted clothing, a passion project which combines my love of art, design and art history. The idea was germinated in 2018 after I customized a pair of sneakers by drawing on them as a gift for my then three-year-old twin nieces. After sharing the finished product on social media, I began receiving commissions from my adult peers and have been filling orders ever since.
