He was known to make his own arrangements of Choral pieces for all of his Choir classes because he did not like the ones already arranged. He put so much time, energy, and soul into the Choir program at Lockport in the four years he was there, and I am happy to have been able to spend those four years under his direction! Thank you, Mr. Granger, for what you did during your career at LTHS" and "I was in two of Mr. Granger's concert choirs, in both the 2009-2010 and 2010-2011 school years. He is an excellent teacher who taught me so much not just about music, but also about leadership and being passionate about the things you love to do. He is extremely knowledgeable about music, and is an extremely talented and skilled musician, which definitely showed in each class. Mr. Granger taught me so much, but also gave me and many others in his class opportunities to be ourselves and also ensured we had fun. He has a terrific sense of humor and is very dedicated to his student's success, in and out of the classroom. I honestly wish I could go back and take another year of choir under his direction, because I really would like the opportunity to pick his brains more on music and life. Mr. Granger is one of the best teachers that I have ever had."
