A founding director of Driver First Assist ("DFA"​). DFA trains both professional and fleet drivers to give them the skills and confidence to provide an effective first response at a road traffic collision prior to the arrival of the emergency services. DFA is a not-for-profit organisation that has been created with the support of the Police, Ambulance and Fire and Rescue services. All DFA instructors are currently serving, or recently retired, paramedics, police or fire officers or someone who has had front-line experience and, if required, drivers receive 7 hours of Driver CPC training. DFA has Ministerial approval and the support of the Department for Transport.
