I am an international business development specialist, having spent most of my career helping companies access opportunities overseas. I joined the UK Department for Business and Trade (as it is now) in 1999, with roles in the USA, Korea and Malaysia where I attracted investment to the UK and assisted British firms in those markets. After a hugely enjoyable and rewarding time with Government, I took the opportunity to join the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders, working to assist firms in the UK automotive sector internationally, based in London. Around this time I studied a part time MBA at Manchester Business School, graduating on 2016. It was a challenging and hugely rewarding experience.Outside work, I spend quite a lot of time pursuing my passion for motor sport, having experienced some highs and lows along the way.
