• Wrote, planned, and implemented the 2016 Coordinated Campaign plan for the Washington State Democrats- charting a course for the organization to facilitate over 550,000 door knocks and over 1.1 million phone calls to sporadic Democratic voters through volunteer driven direct contact. Supplemented these contacts with comprehensive digital/online advertising, mail, and text communication through the 2016 election cycle.• Operated a statewide campaign program with a budget of over $2m, directing 5 staff departments and 40 staff in 16 field offices across Washington state. Worked with a team of state party staff and consultants to solicit financial support and fully fund the program- soliciting resources from top-ticket candidate campaigns, labor allies, and individual investors. • Hosted exhaustive earned media event schedules during both primary and general GOTV tours featuring Hillary Clinton, Patty Murray, Jay Inslee, and numerous other local and state legislative candidates.• Ultimately, elected Sen. Murray and Gov. Inslee by historic margins, won 7 statewide executive positions, maintained the existing majority in the state house, gained 1 seat in the state senate, and helped to pass landmark minimum wage, gun safety, and transit initiative measures in Washington state during the 2016 election cycle.

• Recruited, hired, trained, and managed a field staff of 30 over the course of 6 months to facilitate volunteer-driven voter turnout activities targeting 10 key legislative districts in Washington state during the 2014 election cycle. Operated a $700,000 program- navigating consultant expenditures, staff expenses, office needs, and effectively projected all costs to stay within available funding parameters.• Coordinated universe construction, goal benchmarking, and accountability mechanisms for all staff and volunteers.• Managed all allied organization and funder relationships for OFW- creating comprehensive reports for a monthly roundtable setting, as well as individual meetings and reports as requested.• Despite historic Republican gains across the country in the 2014 election, helped maintain status quo in the Washington State Senate, and retain Democratic majorities in the Washington State House.

Snohomish, Skagit, Whatcom, Island, San Juan Counties (Wa State)

• Managed political relationships and constituent contacts for the Senator in 5 key counties in Washington state, while providing communications assistance to other regional directors in their outreach efforts with organized labor statewide.• Convened key stakeholders in the community to advance the Senator’s agenda by leveraging local resources and commitments. • Worked with community leaders to build and conduct media events with the Senator, cultivating select surrogate voices to lend support to the Senator’s goals and objectives.

Greater Seattle Area

• Managed day to day expectations and responsibilities for a field team of 35 field organizers and 6 regional field directors while working with senior department leads to construct, coordinate, and execute a multi-dimensional GOTV plan during a hotly contested statewide election year. • Worked with a diverse set of stakeholders to increase financial and programmatic buy-in across campaigns, helping build broader institutional support for the Coordinated program. • Ultimately, won every major statewide office for the Democratic Party during the 2012 cycle, including a new swing congressional district.

• Ran a comprehensive political program for the M.L. King County Labor Council- balancing media outreach, event execution, allied organizational relationships, and national AFL-CIO priorities.• Oversaw all King County Labor to Neighbor programs. Trained and retained volunteer leadership teams responsible for the bulk of outreach activities in Washington state during campaign cycles. Successfully defeated long-term incumbent school board member and defended a contested Seattle city council seat in 2011.• Developed and produced all press materials for the leadership of the council- drafting and placing op-eds, crafting statements, and creating event specific press materials. • Conducted all Committee on Political Education endorsement actions for the council, including processing of questionnaires, directing affiliates during the interview process, and recommending endorsements to the larger membership body.
