Coordinated Campaign DirectorWashington State Democrats Jun 2015 - Jan 2017Greater Seattle Area• Wrote, planned, and implemented the 2016 Coordinated Campaign plan for the Washington State Democrats- charting a course for the organization to facilitate over 550,000 door knocks and over 1.1 million phone calls to sporadic Democratic voters through volunteer driven direct contact. Supplemented these contacts with comprehensive digital/online advertising, mail, and text communication through the 2016 election cycle.• Operated a statewide campaign program with a budget of over $2m, directing 5 staff departments and 40 staff in 16 field offices across Washington state. Worked with a team of state party staff and consultants to solicit financial support and fully fund the program- soliciting resources from top-ticket candidate campaigns, labor allies, and individual investors. • Hosted exhaustive earned media event schedules during both primary and general GOTV tours featuring Hillary Clinton, Patty Murray, Jay Inslee, and numerous other local and state legislative candidates.• Ultimately, elected Sen. Murray and Gov. Inslee by historic margins, won 7 statewide executive positions, maintained the existing majority in the state house, gained 1 seat in the state senate, and helped to pass landmark minimum wage, gun safety, and transit initiative measures in Washington state during the 2016 election cycle. -
