It is an exciting time at 2degrees. We have taken the merger of two businesses as the perfect opportunity to build a brand-new cloud data warehouse on a modern data stack. We are decommissioning two heritage data warehouses and building new data models. Data Vault 2.0, dbt and Snowflake are proving to be a winning combination to ingest data quickly into the warehouse and apply lightweight modelling to align the source data to core business concepts. We are working towards a Data Mesh approach to enable us to scale and allow the subject matter experts to be heavily involved in creation of the domain-specific models and contributing to the enterprise-wide models. I was fortunate to join 2degrees in the early stages of this initiative. I have been instrumental in establishing delivery pods and ways of working to set us up for agile, use case-driven warehouse delivery. I have discovered and documented the DV2 design methodologies that allow the team to deliver outcomes in an agile manner. I am constantly refining the ways of working to ensure every member of the team can make an effective contribution. I am working to remove the ubiquitous data team bottleneck. I am taking our stakeholders and consumers on our data journey to ensure they are comfortable adopting the new ways of working.

Over the past few years I have had the privilege to lead an awesome team of Analytical Data Engineers to build the trusted source for revenue reporting of core products at Xero. During this time I performed many roles to make the Sales and Financial data product a success including tech lead, delivery lead, subject matter expert, solutions designer, BA, QA and product manager. I partnered closely with Xero Finance and Revenue Operations functions to ensure the successful development and adoption of this key data product.After several years of focusing on the successful build and adoption of one key product at Xero, I am now shifting my attention to enable all Xeros to build on our lovely new analytical data platform. Using modern data engineering techniques including Data Vault 2.0 and dbt on Snowflake we are building to learn so that we can enable others and scale. We are embarking on an exciting data journey.

Responsible for 2G and 3G radio access network design, product introduction, feature deployment, rollout support, vendor selection, vendor management, and the development of internal and external processes to support these activities.Development and communication of the 3G deployment strategy; management of the GPRS (2.5G) network rollout; introduction of a complete microcell solution for the orange network; specification of equipment enclosures.

Strategy, specification, design and implementation activities associated with the rollout, upgrade and operation of Orange's GSM1800 basestation subsystem network. Responsible for leading cross-functional projects.
