Having worked various positions in the fashion industry in both NY & LA markets, Melissa returned home to Baltimore and quickly established Shine as the must-shop boutique in Charm City. Her sharp instinct as well as seeking & buying from indie designers were the skills that built the ship. Closing the shop and transforming the business from retail to media required that same forward thinking in a new economy as well as a transformation of skills, which today are strong in new business, client relations and pre-production coordination. Melissa credits her success to years of experience in doing what she loves as well as her diligence as Shine’s resident ‘Yoga Bully.’​
