I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Masters of Science degree in Social Work from Columbia University School of Social Work in New York, New York and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Notre Dame. I have over twenty years of experience working clinically with children and families as well as serving in mental health consulting, supervisory, and managerial roles in a variety of settings including residential treatment, therapeutic day school, state government, and private non-profit. My strengths lie in my ability to assess clinical needs and strengths, clinically conceptualize cases, genuinely engage people, work from a systems and strengths-based perspective, and successfully advocate for the best interest of clients. I am particularly trained and skilled in the use of EMDR, Brainspotting, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. I also incorporate Client Centered and Solution Focused therapies in my work. I am passionate about helping people navigate through and rise above difficult life circumstances in order to become and embrace all that God created them to be and to do.
