Hello! I have a passion for children, young people, and families— especially those in vulnerable circumstances. I have spent my career advocating for children from hard places and inviting young people into a transformative relationship with Jesus! With this conviction of Jesus as Lord at the center of everything I do, I began working at World Outreach Church as the College Ministry Intern. Since then, I have served as the Children’s Ministry Support Specialist and the Special Needs Ministry Coordinator. I now lead the College Ministry: shepherding students through Biblical teaching and small group curriculum, ministering to students and volunteers, managing a team of volunteers, and stewarding the assignment I believe the Lord has given us. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than be anywhere else. Previously, as the Site Coordinator of the Refugee Youth Program in Smyrna, TN, I have gained experience communicating cross-culturally, collaborating with community partners to meet physical needs of clients, and enacting trauma-informed care practices with at-risk youth. I collected a variety of experiences such as conducting one-on-one ministry, fundraising, collaborating with community partners and stakeholders, and client management. I have also served with IGNITE Benefiting Portico as a content creator and a founding member of their Social Media Marketing Committee, promoting their mission of serving women in crisis pregnancies in Murfreesboro, TN.At Middle Tennessee State University, I majored in Communication (with an Organizational emphasis), coupled with two minors in Not-For-Profit Management and Nutrition and Food Science. While at MTSU, I also completed the lower-division requirements for the Honors College, and maintained a 4.0 GPA throughout my tenure. During this season, I had the pleasure of working as Co-Chair of the Marketing Committee for Relay For Life, several officer positions with Lambda Pi Eta, and President of the WOC College Ministry at MTSU. In my free time, I am a purveyor of beautiful things: gardens, literature, watercolor painting. Please reach out and connect!
