His journey has led him to become a content creator, contributing to platforms like Merck's Your Cancer Story, the Today Show, and national publications such as the Department of Defense. Additionally, Mical has advocated for increased prostate cancer research funding before the Senate and Congress and co-founded and co-coordinated the Bastrop County Pink & Blue Affair to raise awareness for breast and prostate cancer.Mical brings a blend of academic knowledge and practical experience to his endeavors. His professional background includes roles such as a project specialist in Austin ISD, managing multiple secondary campuses and an advanced reading and writing instructor at Austin Community College, where he demonstrated exceptional leadership and instructional skills.Mical's commitment to community engagement extends beyond his professional roles. He is a City Commissioner for the City of Leander's Public Arts and Culture Commission, where he manages partnerships for cultural events in the city. He was also apart of the City's inaugural Citizen's University, Fall 2023 and Leadership LISD cohort, 2023-2024. Mical has volunteered extensively, serving on committees, mentoring prostate cancer patients, and contributing to various organizations focused on education, health, and community development. As the Senior Community Engagement Manager at Community Health Marketing Agency, Mical worked on national initiatives to promote health education and awareness, particularly in cancers that affect minority communities.With a passion for communication, leadership, and community impact, Mical J.
