Through the British Council and IAESTE, I spent 5 months working in Dr Springer's lab, researching novel techniques for synthesising magnetic nanoparticles for removing pollution from water sources.

My masters project was in Prof. Attfield's research group, looking at the high pressure synthesis of VO2 with applications in smart windows, for increasing the energy efficiencies in buildings

I spent a year working in Dr Soo Han Sen's lab group, researching artificial photosynthesis as an energy efficient way to convert CO2 into fuels
