My first role at Verizon Wireless was as a Customer Service Representative at the Lincoln, Nebraska call center. My ambition and strong work ethic helped me move up in the company, and I am now an Attendance Coordinator. I work as part of a virtual team to support multiple call centers in the Midwest area. My responsibilities, in addition to auditing and approving weekly time sheets, include processing Short and Long term disability claims, Work Place Arrangements, employee leaves and creating corrective action letters. I'm driven to be an approachable colleague whom others look to for guidance and assistance. My peers find me easy to work with and knowledgeable; they know they can trust me. My customer service experience has served me well, even as I've transitioned to working with employees rather than customers. I take pride in my ability to do my job well and believe that I've made a positive impact at Verizon, both at the Lincoln call center and at call centers where I served as a trainer and virtual colleague. I look forward to the opportunity to use my skills in a new setting and grow professionally!
