Drove development, implementation, training, and coordination of projects supporting network yards. As liaison and subject matter expert (SME) between field operations and corporate, defined/communicated company-wide terminal operations methodologies, infrastructure strategy, and capital project development action plans. Controlled $2M capital budgets with influence over additional $25M.CROSS-COMPANY INFLUENCE & LEADERSHIP: Established trusted relationships with stakeholders across business areas, including Operations, Signal, Locomotive, IT, Labor Relations, Safety, and others to gain consensus on enterprise capital projects.TECHNOLOGY DEVELOPMENT: Oversaw multiple teams to develop/integrate technology, including modernization of planning interfaces, switching optimization tools, and mobile applications.HUMP LOCOMOTIVE VARIABLE SPEED CONTROLLER: Gained federal buy-in and operating waivers and led cross-functional team from RCL, Signal, Hump Control Systems, and Locomotive to develop variable speed controller utilizing sensors and known clearing distances to increase speed of car switch operations and improve overall user and mechanical safety.
