Passionate about AI Safety and Ethics, I'm pursuing a career at the intersection of artificial intelligence and responsible development. I've completed my M.A. in Computer Science at the University of Kansas, and I also hold a B.S. in Mathematical Economics from Colorado College.As an AI/Machine Learning Developer at Worktern, I've developed AI-powered tools for optimized career guidance and resume enhancement, with a strong emphasis on AI Ethics. Additionally, I've mentored high school students in practical projects involving neural networks and data analysis, fostering their interest in the field.My recent work as a consultant at Alamed Systems, LLC involved leveraging data to optimize healthcare coverage for underserved populations, contributing to increased patient enrollment in Medicaid and Medicare programs. I am committed to using AI to drive positive change and promote equity in various domains.I am actively engaged in research projects that explore the application of AI in legal contexts. Through my Predictive ML Legal Software Master's Project, I developed an AI-powered legal tool to assist veterans in discharge review processes, empowering them to navigate the system independently. My work on analyzing ChatGPT for legal document labeling contributes to the ongoing conversation on AI safety and alignment.In leadership roles, such as serving as the Co-Founder of the Kansas Go Association and President of Kappa Sigma at Colorado College, I've demonstrated my ability to inspire and collaborate with others to achieve common goals.My long-term career goal is to become an AI Safety & Ethics thought leader, making a positive impact in the field.
