My greatest strength is my ability to increase profitability while maintaining a high quality of service and product for the customer and their quests. Unfortunately, this has also been the reason for my inconsistencies in my resume. I turned the failing Triumph Brewery around in profitability, customer service, and desirability in a saturated market in Philadelphia. Although the location had been for sale before, these increases made it more attractive and the property was sold. Likewise, when I was the General Manager for Hartefeld National Golf Club, sales and membership increased and the location was purchased by ClubCorp. I left in good standing and with high recommendations from the transition team; however, it is their company policy to bring on one of their own company trained General Managers.I have a culinary degree and a bachelor's degree in Food Service Management from Johnson and Wales University. I have worked in almost every position in a restaurant/hotel from line cook up to General Manager. As a General Manager, I am very “hands on” in both the front of the house and back of the house. I believe in creating and maintaining a strong team through clear expectations, high standards, and a commitment to respecting the client, as well as, the staff that serves them.
