Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the transmission/distribution system. • Direct the day-to-day construction, operation, and maintenance of the distribution/transmission system and related equipment at LMU.• Supervise electrical metering department and street lighting department• Supervise the operation and maintenance of distribution/transmission facilities and related equipment to insure satisfactory operating conditions and insure compliance with all applicable safety rules, regulations and company policies. • Respond to system outages, supervise the restoration of electrical service as rapidly and safely as possible, and insure prompt restoration of service following system interruptions. • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the staff including hiring, training needs, customer service, performance management, and performance evaluations. • Provide information to Director of Utilities for short and long-range planning. • Responsible for the Operations section safety compliant.• Compile data to assist the Director of Utilities in the formation of the annual budget. • Inspect of all completed major work orders.• Perform as a key member of the management team on the scheduling of all work orders, material inventories, vehicle replacement, new tools and revisions of LMU policies. • Schedule vehicle fleet maintenance and prepare bid documents for vehicle procurement. • Responsible for Operations Hazardous Communication program compliance. • Responsible for protection and security of the LMU sub stations, property and equipment.

Responsible for General maintenanced and construction on all overhead and underground distribution voltages from 34.5 KV-12.7 KV. Foreman and Crew leaders duties as needed. Compliant with all OSHA and NEC regulations.
