Project, Upgrading of 3.Sulzer type 1 gas turbine compressor control system from Siemens PLC 5 to Siemens PLC 7.Responsibilities, including, but not limited to, Supervision of clients mechanical, electrical & instrumentation staff. Actual hands on working. Removal of old unit control panel (UCP) & redundant skid instruments. Re-utilisation of existing field cables, installing new instrumentation new control room UCP, additional cables, junction box’s etc. Glanding and terminating of all system cables, followed by cold loop checking.Supervising and performing hot loop checks, calibrations and associated function checks prior to turbine start-up.

South Korea, Ulsan Hhi Shipyard

C&I SIS Commissioning EngineerBP Quad 204 FPSO Project Ulsan South Korea. October 2013 to May 2015Role Synopsis :- Accountable to the commissioning Senior C&I SIS ( Safety Instrumented System) engineer / manager for providing supervision and guidance / liaison with HHI contract staff & BP technicians and EPC contractor during the mechanical completion and full commissioning of all SIS instrumentation / controls equipment throughout the FPSO build. Responsibilities: - To lead a team of instrument technicians in field commissioning activities throughout the FPSO, to accept delegation as the process systems commissioning discipline lead engineer as part of a multi –disciplined commissioning team to safely & effectively execute systems commissioning, organise and liaise with other project groups I.E. SBM Turret, to ensure effective system commissioning is complete across required interfaces. Complete all applicable commissioning certificates, GOC as per BP procedures in line with SIS Document IEC 61511.

Kongsberg & Yokagowa vendors,SBM Turret, Subsea 7 Subsea wells to ensure effective system commissioning is complete across required interfaces. Complete all applicable commissioning certificates, Including all F&G, ESD & PSD systems, thus supporting the certification team during handover phase.
