• Responsible for the training, well-being, and the readiness of 50 Marines• Responsible for creating daily/ weekly/ monthly/ quarterly training schedule• Performs Officer In Charge (OIC) duties for company level training events of up to 150 Marines, including putting together all logistical and safety support for the event• As an infantry officer I am central to the role of the Marine Corps as an expeditionary force. I am responsible for training my Marines in a variety of ground combat missions in any environment. As an infantry officer, I gather and evaluate intelligence on enemy forces, develop offensive and defensive battle plans, and command and control my fighting unit’s use of weapons and equipment. I assume responsibility for considerable budgets, costly equipment, and mission-critical performance of my tactical units, not to mention the invaluable lives of others under my command. Marine Corps officers are known for their values, ethics, and strong leadership skills such as problem solving, decisiveness, and concise communication. I have experience in developing teams and working with large groups of diverse people to accomplish organizational goals.
