Before becoming a full-time arbitrator, Michael practiced with Milbank LLP, where he was a partner for more than 20 years. At Milbank, Michael served as counsel or arbitrator in commercial cases under most major arbitration rules. He also represented both investors and States in arbitrations pursuant to bilateral and multilateral treaties. In addition to being an arbitration specialist, Michael is a widely experienced litigator who regularly served as lead counsel for significant matters in U.S. state and federal trail and appellate courts.
