Executive Assistant for senior executive of the National Guard serving over 430,000 personnel and their families. Assist in the development of policy that governs the Department of Defense in regards to care, development, and well-being of personnel.

As the Command Senior Enlisted Leader of the Nevada National Guard, I was responsible for communicating the Adjutant General’s directives to the enlisted service members (approximately 80% of the Nevada National Guard) while also serving as the senior executive representative for enlisted views and concerns. I was responsible to enhance communication by ensuring our members understand the goals and directives issued from the Adjutant General while also providing our members an avenue to express warranted views and concerns. Further, I was responsible for communicating policies, programs, and opportunities that allow our members, and their families, to enhance their careers and well-being. This allowed out member to focus on the mission.With an unprecedented pandemic coupled with civil unrest, my responsibilities expanded. I was responsible for the health, morale, and well-being of over 1100 personnel committed to helping fellow Nevadans.
