Michael has 30+ years experience in the wastewater industry primarily in the areas of maintenance management, operations supervision, equipment reliability, asset management, infrastructure, emergency management and safety. He has also worked on and with multiple hearth and fluidized bed incinerators, a wide range of conveyors and vacuum systems, dewatering systems such as plate and frame, belt presses, bypass pumping, centrifuges and many varieties of positive displacement and centrifical pumps as well as pump controls, level sensors, flow meters and valve operators. Michael has also played a key roll within the Rhode Island Operations Challenge Team as the team captain and committee chairman. He has also served on the executive board of the Narragansett Wastewater Pollution Control Association. Through his years of service , Michael has also documented numerous events pertaining to the industry through photographs for publication and distribution.
