Provided leadership that fostered the development of a common vision for Heart of Illinois United Way among volunteers, staff, partner agencies, and the community. Led staff and volunteers by exhibiting integrity, enthusiasm, and commitment to United Way’s organizational goals. Continually cultivated relationships with individuals that can have a positive impact on the organization. Implemented a strategic plan repositioning Heart of Illinois United Way from a community fundraiser to a community problem solver. Increased annual campaign from $5.6 million to 11.3 million and recognized by United Way Worldwide as a high preforming United Way (top 1%).

As a senior management team member, provided leadership, vision, and support to campaign staff and volunteers. This included support to the Chief Professional Officer in planning, developing, and implementing overall campaign strategies; recruiting and training of campaign leadership and volunteers; concept design of campaign materials; strategic forcasting in the development of division goals and positioning of United Way to increase market share in a competitive donor designation environment.

Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Resource Development, directly participated in the planning, implementation, and management of a $19.4 million campaign generating an increase of 17% over a two year period.

In support of the Campaign Director, led a team of volunteers and staff to raise $9.4 million, representing a 39% increase over a three-year period.
