Machine Operator
CurrentHere at Essex they have me operate both mills and lathes. I am able to set up on both mills and lathes as well. I have more experience so far in the mill sector but I am currently working on being more efficient at lathe setup. They also have me doing hardness inspection on parts that come back from heat treat and those range from steel to aluminum mainly. I am efficient in deburring and inspecting my work while running the machine using various inspection tools and methods. I deburr and sandblast various parts as well when not on a machine. I do some manual work when needed on manual mills and lathes. i have some assembly experience as well and can do when needed. I can pretty much be placed anywhere on the production floor when needed and perform the job efficiently.
