For almost twenty years, Michael has held a variety of roles for privately held, venture-backed startups and Fortune 500 companies. Most recently Michael has ten years of progressive experience within the Human Capital Management space, where he developed a passion for building sales teams and implementing sales process, while consistently establishing long-term partnerships with employers to effectively solve their business problems. During his seven year tenure at Snagajob, Michael held a variety of sales leadership roles, including Director of Major Accounts and Vice President of Employer Services. From 2011 through 2012, Michael served as Senior Vice President of Sales and was a member of the Leadership Team where he was part of the budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning process. During that time, Michael led the organization’s various sales channels and support arms, including Sales Operations, Sales Support, Business Development, Recruitment Advertising, Major Accounts, Franchise Accounts, Franchise Small Business and eComm, where he focused on developing and executing effective strategies that expanded the breadth and depth of market coverage and penetration. Prior to his tenure at Snagajob, Michael worked at Robert Half International, a multi-billion-dollar global staffing and recruiting firm, where he established and maintained relationships with some of Central Virginia’s top companies.
