I first began at work at one of the three most significant colonial buildings in the US back in 2009. At first I served as a docent before transitioning into the Assistant to the DIrector role with a wider range of responsibilities including training, research and public history workshops, lectures and symposiums. We assumed management responsibilities of the Old Slave Mart Museum in 2013, a role in which I assisted in, I left this position in 2016, only to return remotely as Social Media and Marketing Manager in 2018, a post I continue to develop to this day. I recently joined the staff of WCPO, an ABC affiliate in the position of Real-Time Editor. My prior research, writing and logistical experience has defintely helped me transition into this fast-paced field. Looking forward to learning as much as I can and developing my journalism skills. My current duties are: -Identify breaking news in real-time and aggressively gather facts for cross-platform distribution by managing all internal and external content.
