I had a great and rewarding experience working with students from a variety of grades (8,9,10 & 12) at different achievement levels. I strived to provide the students with an engaging Project Based Learning structure. The overarching goal being to give the students autonomy within the confines of the learning objective to direct their own learning. I was continuously surprised with the students ability to direct their own learning as well as the directions they chose with their projects.

Created engaging lesson plans that effectively taught introductory Ethics. While also provided guidance and support for over 50 students per semester. Was responsible for ensured academic integrity during assessments and exams.

- Point of contact for Occupational Health and Safety Act inquiries; provided Safe Work Practices orientation for new employees- Led monthly inspections for workplace safety and prepared mandatory reports- Organized and co-chaired quarterly JHSC meetings- Delivered a critical injury report to the Ministry of Labour
