I hold an Honours Bachelor of Science (BSc) and a Master of Science (MSc) in Psychology, with a passion for addressing the impact of trauma and societal challenges on mental health recovery, and utilising evidence-based practice in all aspects of my role. I aspire to be a Clinical Psychologist, and welcome any connections from others at this early psychology career stage, or experienced practitioners who can offer advice and guidance.My core interests relate to addressing the role of trauma and social barriers to mental health recovery. Having worked across adult homeless services, child disability services, domestic violence services and adult community mental health services in the Dublin 22 and 24 areas, I'm experienced in supporting clients facing issues such as mental health difficulties, complex trauma, drug use and harm reduction, poverty, social exclusion and marginalisation. I am driven by the belief that everyone deserves access to quality mental health support and services. My mission is to continue collaboratively empowering clients I work with by addressing trauma and social barriers, as well as working towards their definition of recovery.
