I joined the original Howard Cohen and Co in 1990 and became a Partner in 1994. My expertise is in dispute resolution and I now head up the Disputes Department, having overall responsibility for Inheritance Disputes, Reputation Management, Professional Negligence and Commercial Contract Disputes and has extensive experience of dealing with cases in all courts, including the Divisional Court, Court of Appeal and The House of Lords (now the Supreme Court). My principle interests are in the areas of professional negligence, building and construction disputes and injunctive relief matters, as well as overseeing all matters involving estate and trusts litigation including claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Dependants) Act 1975. I am also a trustee of numerous trusts.My role as head of the Disputes department att Cohen Cramer is twofold:I head up both the disputes and the bulk debt collection teams in our Leeds office. The Disputes team specialises in three specific areas of litigation, namely professional negligence claims, reputation management (which includes defamation and media work) and general commercial litigation team.I am also in charge of our Bulk debt department. Here we mainly act for Debt purchasers, Banks and Credit card companies in recovering consumer debts on a bulk scale. I believe that we are one of the largest consumer claims issuers in the country
