I started with Telstra Health as a Senior Developer, bought on board to deliver a Data Warehousing solution for our clients. Then I moved on enhancements, bug fixes and the removal of legacy code from our core product.I then took on more responsibility for larger and newer projects doing everything from solution architecture to development. I started with Object Consulting in October 2011 as a Consultant and finished as a Lead Consultant. I was a key member of the team creating a replacement for the Advertiser Centre for SEEK. The main focus for the team was quality with > 90% Unit Test coverage of quality tests achieved. They also had a range of JavaScript Unit Tests and a Regression suite driven by Selenium and SpecFlow. The site itself is a highly Ajaxafied site running on .NET MVC with KnockoutJS, HTML & CSS for the frontend. I was heavily involved in the creation of The Herald and Weekly Times’ Live Match HQ that provides live score updates about all AFL games within 30 seconds of them occurring on the field. This site was built using a combination of Azure/Akami to produce a highly scalable solution that can easily handle the high volume of traffic thrown at it. It also uses Edge Side Includes for authentication with News Digital Medias existing infrastructure.KEY ACHIEVEMENTS:• Built multiple key parts of the framework we used to produce our software solution. As a Senior .NET Developer, I was responsible for designing and developing large scale applications along with mentoring / leading other .NET developers. I ran projects and ensured they were completed on time and within budget, delegated the work of the project out to developers based on skills and experience and made key technology choices for projects.
