Support Naval Surface Warfare Center’s Fort Lauderdale Detachment-South Florida Ocean Measurement Facility. SFOMF conducts electromagnetic signature measurement and demonstration for surface ship, small craft, submarine and underwater vehicles to ensure they meet appropriate specification performance requirements. The facility acquires data for future design validation and predicative model analysis and verification. Holding this position I managed waterfront small craft and research vessel offshore operations, CNC machining center, and test equipment fabrication.Naval research vessel captain for launch and recovery operations, towing arrays/side scans, and miscellaneous Navy/University testing ops. Naval chase boat captain, maintaining clearance of Navy test ranges to ensure successful operations.Working with organizations such as Naval Research Laboratory, Nova Southeastern University, John Hopkins University, Mikel, and other Navy subparts.

• Solely responsible for the operation of Direct Repair Center, a factory authorized Suunto Level 2 dive computer and service center.• Perform routine maintenance of Scuba equipment, including disassembly, inspection, cleaning, repair and replacement of defective parts, product assembly and testing.• Manage and control inventory• Complete, process and maintain all relevant paperwork and service records.• Respond to customer inquiries on the telephone, by mail, e-mail and in person.• Communicate manufacturer product knowledge and technical support to all 8 store locations.• Ensure compressor compliance with applicable air quality standards for breathing gases in accordance with DOT, OSHA, State and Federal agencies.• Collect data and provide regular reports on equipment servicing, repairs, air fills & inspection services.• Provide store operations support during special events and sales, or as needed to cover staffing deficiencies.
