I am pretty sure they have based roller coasters off my career pathA biomedical engineering major who has spent the last 6 years being an assistant english teacher in japan, working at a high level high school that is very international minded and excels in the sciences, arts, and business.Although my title was that of an assistant, like with many positions I have had, I was way more than just an assistant. With no teaching experience, I not only quickly learned the job, I excelled at it making fun and educational lesson plans and also became the lead teacher in class. I also was a valuable asset to the schools Super Global and Super Science High School classes, where I was able to help my students stand tall and proud and present science and business plans to an international audience. By the end of my time at my school I was more like the head of English and International relations, due to my commitment to making sure our students not only were well versed in what they were taught and had researched, but also how to present themselves in a professional manner and exude confidence.After working with so many bright students I was inspired to get back into the biomedical engineering field. I originally went to japan because I lacked the confidence to land a biomedical engineering job, but now I am sure not only can I be a great asset but also excel in the field. I’m a quick learner, great communicator, and soft skills powerhouse. At the end of the day, I want to be a part of something bigger and have a positive impact on not just my company but the world
