Collected and analyzed data from the Research & Creative Works conference at Brigham Young University - Idaho. Using a pre-post test design I looked at: (1) what type of student participated, (2) what expectations they had coming into the conference and whether or not they were met, (3) what factors motivated them to present and what motivated them to return.

I worked under Dr. Eric Gee, the Lead Evaluator for Madison CARES. Madison CARES is an organization that provides services to children ages 0-21 that are experiencing severe emotional or behavioral disturbances. It is a facet of the Madison School District in Rexburg, Idaho and is federally funded by the Systems of Care grant. My duties included:- Creation, implementation, and data analysis of surveys within the community and school district. These surveys were used to assess mental health stigma, student safety, and teacher evaluations. - Translation of research instruments from English to Spanish.- Data analytics using SPSS (Chi Square, Independent Samples T Test, Paired Samples T Test, Analysis of Variance)- Administration of psychological assessments to children and adults, in both English and Spanish, for a national study evaluating the effectiveness of the Systems of Care grant. - I am currently using the data retrieved from these assessments to investigate the effectiveness of the grant funded services at the local level.
