Grandscape is one of the largest and most unique mixed-use real estate developments in the country. It is located in The Colony, Texas and is in the heart of the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Our project spans across 400+ acres and includes more than 3.9 million square feet of retail, dining, entertainment, residential and attractions. Grandscape is being developed by Nebraska Furniture Mart, a Berkshire Hathaway Company. This is no small task and our team is up for the challenge. Our responsibilities include overseeing the day to day construction activities, schedule coordination, budget management and management of our design professionals. Another key responsibility is engaging with our tenants that are joining Grandscape. Our goal is to provide timely exceptional service to our new partners. This is done by successfully managing both landlord and tenant deliverables, schedule coordination, communication and timely resolution.

Recently finished working on a 1.9 million square foot retail and distribution center. This massive new Texas-sized home furnishings store is located off Sam Rayburn Tollway/Texas 121 in between Plano Parkway and W Spring Creek Parkway in the City by the Lake, The Colony, Texas. Our store features the largest selection of furniture, accessories, appliances, televisions, computers, carpet, area rugs, hard surface flooring and much more, every inch of the 560,000 square foot retail showroom designed to help you find the home furnishings you need to improve your lifestyle. Responsibilities includes over seeing day to day construction operations, schedule coordination, managing budgets and managing Owner Provided materials. Other responsibilities include working with our design firm on finishes,lighting, graphics and fixture applications for our new store.

Kansas City, Kansas

During this time period I was involved in coordinating or management of a variety of projects. Responsibilities included contract negotiations, bid packages, procurement, driving schedules, managing budgets and managing the day to day efforts.Projects:- 380,000 square foot renovation and expansion for Homemakers Furniture in Des Moines, Iowa. - 360,000 square foot warehouse expansion in Kansas City, Kansas. - 712,000 square foot ground up new store and warehouse in Kansas City, Kansas.- Various small departmental remodels
