Witnessing first-hand the lack of resources and opportunities for minority and low-income communities in public schools during my undergraduate years, I've been motivated to make a more significant impact on education policy. As COO at Charter Schools Development Corporation, I am dedicated to our organization's growth by providing opportunities for our people and developing effective programs for charter schools. Working strategically with our leadership team and board members, I ensure our new programs, grant applications, and relationships align with our vision and mission, propelling us forward to offer enhanced opportunities for children in lower-income communities.Serving previously as the Executive Vice President, ensuring our organization thrives and is able to continue to reach new milestones is at my core. Building the infrastructure of the company, collaborating directly with board members, helping clients secure complex financing, and, most notably, working with DC officials, lobbyists, and federal legislators to pass the model for charter school legislation, I've had the opportunity to touch every aspect of the organization.
