Managing a team of 7 in supporting the Group's Support Functions (HR, Finance, Risk, Group Corporate Affairs and Enterprise Service) with their Operational Risk and Compliance needs.This involves engagement and consultation with Group Executives and their teams, ensuring risk and compliance frameworks are fit for purpose and understood consistently across the business. Specifically:- Responsible for the application, deployment and education of CBA Group's Operational Risk Management Framework (ORMF) and Compliance Risk Management Framework (CRMF). Specifically my team managed and was responsible for:- Compliance with CBA and Licensee Policies, Standards and Guidelines- Risk & Compliance Executive Management and Committee reporting- Risk & Compliance Board and Committee reporting- Group Executive (GE), Executive General Manager (EGM) and EGM Leadership Team engagement- Regulatory obligations assurance- Thematic and targeted assurance reviews- Engaging and supporting the business in their strategy development and deployment through significant projects- Risk Profile (RCSA) refresh/review and associated Control Assurance Programs- Management and identification of Operational issues, breaches and incidents

Managing a team of 7, responsible for:- implementation and oversight of the Group's Compliance Risk Management Framework;- maintenance of the Group's AFS and Credit licenses;- monitoring compliance with APRA's Prudential Standards;- development of the framework, combining operational and compliance risk processes and systems;- the creation, revision and monitoring of 20 Group-wide compliance policies;- driving/supporting key compliance projects;- management of an Australian library of obligations.

Building and implementing a Group-wide risk management system (OpenPages) into CommInsure.Implementation of robust risk management framework in a fast-paced environment.

- Numerous positions held, providing consultative cover for training, audit, business review and managerial duties.- Variety of firms covering Banking, Insurance and Dealer Groups.- Owner of Limited Company working on own initiative.- Managed up to 30 staff membersAchievements: Working in a challenging IFA environment, I was responsible for auditing and project managing a 6-month change programme and managing 30 staff whilst the dept management role was under recruitment and the Firm was under extreme financial scrutiny. The Dept was successfully transformed and handed over to a new manager.

- Liaison to the Marketing and Distribution functions, providing risk and compliance support.- Diverse roll covering project support, process re-design, breach management, interpretation and dissemination of legal requirements.- Advanced through positions, managing 5 staff members.Achievements: Providing compliance support to a significant change programme, involving re-structuring a single sales environment into a multi-tied organisation; whilst incorporating new Conduct of Business & Distant Marketing regulations. Re-designed the breach management process and associated system, providing significant savings, earning a company reward for exceptional behaviour.
