Full Program management responsibility for UPS' underground storage tank campaign. Led the execution of a program that removed, ugraded or replaced and remediated the sites of over 2,500 underground storage tanks throughout the US and Canada.Became the first lead instructor for the UPS Corporate Environmental Group, responsible for training over 450 management personnel throughout the US and Canada on compliance with all federal, state and local environmental laws and regulations. Developed subject matter expertise in RCRA, CERCLA, CWA, CAA, and related issues of sustainable operations management.

Following an operations career which began in 1984, transitioned to UPS' Engineering function with initial responsibilities to maintain UPS facilities in a clean and operational ready condition. Promoted to a Region Project Engineer in 1987 with resposibilities to manage capital projects, named East Region Environmental Manager in 1989 and promoted to Region Project Manager.
