This position was responsible for all aspects, duties and responsibilities associated with starting and running a small business.•Consulted with business partner, accountant, and other sources while developing the partnership agreement text prior to establishing PolyTech Extrusion, llc.•Created, posted, and maintained the company’s website.•Modified and/or created the Extrusion specific quoting formulas and RFQ (request for quote) templates.•Quoted all extrusion jobs generally turning around within 24 hrs. •Created BOM’s, set production rates, generated machine set-up sheets and operator instructions, provided MSDS sheets, etc.•Personally refurbished all Extrusion equipment and installed equipment in plant. This included unloading equipment, dismantling for prep and paint, site prep, negotiations with electrical provider for more capacity, running supply power and installing transformer, compressed air service, cooling water lines and adding required hardware. Performed electrical and mechanical PM’s and made all necessary repairs and arrangements prior to startup.•Designed, specked materials, machined, polished, installed and tweaked extrusion tooling prior to running production.•Designed and built downstream cooling system and sizing die layouts.•Ran production within tolerances, completed Customer 1st article forms and other internal QC forms, packaged assemblies for shipment and made sure they shipped out on time.•Followed up with customers to make sure our products were performing to their expectations and to see if there was anything else we could do for them to make their job easier or more efficient.
