As the only Residence Life Coordinator, in a two person (professional staff) department, I was responsible for five residence halls housing approximately 650 residents and all responsibilities associated with that including, but not limited to:•Utilizing the Notre Dame College Mission to create and maintain an atmosphere conducive to achieving academic excellence for students•Supervising, developing, and evaluating 14 paraprofessional staff members using departmental based outcomes •Coordinating and promoting activities and events with campus partners to enhance the co-curricular experience•Creating communication and marketing of Residence Life policies, programs, and processes to current and incoming residential students•Coordinating processes including, but not limited to: staff recruitment, staff selection, training, recognition, evaluation, room changes, housing assignments, room condition reports, damage billing, managing of housing records/files, and managing keys and key cores•Assisting in data collection and evaluation of departmental outcomes as a part of departmental and College-wide assessment initiatives•Maintaining frequent communication with the Director of Residence Life, the Dean of Students Office, and other College staff including, but not limited to, the Counseling Center, Maintenance, Housekeeping, Student Engagement, Student Success, and Student Conduct.•Participating in an on-call (emergency/crisis) rotation for an on-campus population of approximately 650 students•Serving on various departmental/institutional committees•Adjudicating student conduct cases

As a Student Success Coach I was tasked with the following responsibilities:•Worked closely with the Associate Dean of Students to facilitate student success efforts.•Worked collaboratively with faculty to support overall student achievement for assigned students.•Supported student engagement and learning by working with small groups on site to ensure they complete their assignments, in a high quality and timely fashion.•Provided time management, organizational, study and general academic skills that encouraged students to strive for improved learning outcomes across content areas.•Provided consistent updates and feedback to students and families regarding progress related to attendance and academic performance.•Provided positive and constructive feedback to assigned students.•Ensured student compliance with the Student Handbook and remote learning policies.
