Editorial: Coordinate with authors and editors on photo and artwork submission for titles. Utilize Photoshop, Acrobat, and other resources to ensure that any graphics have printer-optimized resolution and meet other printing requirements. Assist authors in the process of securing permissions and copyright consents for photos and artwork. Act as a bridge between Editorial and Production departments regarding manuscript and design specs. Production: Help manage schedules for all BenBella titles. Collaborate with authors, typesetters, editors, and proofreaders in several stages of composition. Work extensively in Adobe Acrobat and moderately in Photoshop to ensure interior design and photos all meet standard requirements. Maintain multiple tracking spreadsheets, including warehouse distribution sheets and printer costs sheets. Responsible for all reprints of titles. Attend to audio and foreign rights requests.

(temporary assignment via Corbett Personnel Services) Assist in the fast-pace property management of 5 high rise commercial buildings of the American General center in downtown Houston (6,000+ tenants). Manage work service requests, meeting room reservations, and other tenant concerns. Receive and distribute contractor invoices to property managers and building engineers. Communicate with approximately ten other departments regarding issues such as work requests, security access to buildings, and leasing space in buildings.
