CurrentSupport Workers’ Compensation attorneys. Act as attorney liaison. Assist clients with medical and legal needs in a timely manner; assist with obtaining medical treatment authorization and income benefits. Request, analyze and review medical records. Draft Subpoenas, discovery requests and responses. Calendar and docket hearings. Prepare witness and exhibit lists. Hearing preparation and record daily time entry. Draft legal documents. Calculate lost wages. Schedule depositions, and settlement conferences/mediations. Schedule clients’ medical appointments (to include Independent Medical Evaluation and Functional Capacity Evaluations). Summarize deposition transcripts. Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, medical providers and Judges’ staff regarding workers' compensation claims.
