As part of the Samsung training team it was my responsibility to deliver quality and highly engaging training sessions within the different channel partners. As part of our training we are expected to build high quality relationships with the channel partners and work closely with them to develop training programs with their KPI’s and future business goals in mind.Focusing on training targets as well as driving levels of excitement in store around new products and experiences, but never letting the quality of training slip. At launch time we are tasked to manage a group of Tactical Trainers to deliver the same quality training in over 300 stores around the country, as well as discovering new and innovative business opportunities

As part of one of the biggest retailers in the UK, I was my responsibility to make sure all the colleagues were fully trained, coached and up to company customer service standards. Also doing weekly reviews and 1 to 1 meetings around KPI management i.e. What they did well, what they didn't do well and how they are going to improve (putting an action plan into place). This worked well as the colleagues would come up with the solutions themselves and makes them feel like they have progressed.Along with this I also needed to be actively selling and exceeding my KPI's to set an example for the colleagues. At phones4u having never done sales before I set it my personal goal to be the best within sales and to give customers the best service they deserve. My responsibility included approaching customers and generating new business, maintaining existing customers by giving them exceptional service and by going the extra mile, making sure all my learning development was done and I know all there is to know to give the customers the correct and honest advice.I briefly took over the store as their was no manager present and I was the most experienced member of staff their, as a result my responsibilities changed for about 2-3 months. These responsibilities included opening and closing routine of the store, banking, POS (Point of Sale) changes, coaching and training, making sure the store standards was kept high and achieving and exceeding store target and KPI's.As a result of my outstanding sales performance I got awarded Certificate of Exceptional Performances at Gold status for the months of December 2013, February 2014, March 2014, April 2014, May 2014, June 2014 and July 2014. I was in line to achieve one for August 2014 and September 2014 but the company went into administration so I didn't receive the certificate.
