I love creativity. Theatre. Film. Photography. Design. I've been fortunate enough to have been paid to do these things for a living. It wasn't always easy and being a creative takes some thick skin but it has been an amazing ride and I thirst for more. For 15+ years while developing my creative talents there was also the long nights and dedicated hours working in the food, beverage and hospitality industries. Creative pursuits coupled with my love of travel, food, good wine and amazing culinary and event experiences led me abroad and to the person I am today, a modern Renaissance man.It may seem romanticized. Yet it's a true story. It of course has been filled with long hours of continuing education learning seemingly unromantic things. I guess HTML and CSS has a certain je ne se quoi so I shouldn't be too harsh (yes that was a French plug, I did live in Paris for two years). My current employment has lead me beyond just graphic design but now to website development. My education has never ended. Certificates in Marketing, Graphic Design, and now Front-End Web Development and User Experience.The Renaissance title is a double edge sword. While it does mean a very wide skillset it also means continually learning more and a strong desire self-improvement. Constant growth and an expansion of skillsets and talents and realization that true mastery takes a lifetime.
